Synopsis
Invitation for Bids (IFB) The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide (4) forklifts, sit-down, propane with standard fork (2) forklifts, sit-down, propane with extended fork (4) forklift, sit-down diesel, soft cab; and (3) forklift, sit-down diesel, hard cab. Bidders are not required to offer a bid for each of the 4 types of forklifts required. However, bidders must price the quantities listed above for each type of forklift that is quoted. NOTE: The IFB contains a 0% percent DBE Goal requirement. A pre-bid conference will be held on March 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. The location is the Carmen Turner Facility, 3500 Pennsy Drive, Landover, MD 20785. Your bid must be submitted in accordance with IFB terms and delivered to WMATA’s Office of Procurement and Materials, 600 Fifth Street, N.W., Room 3C02, Washington, DC 20001. Bids must be received no later than 2:00p.m.on March 21, 2016. If you have any questions, technical, contractual or administrative please email them to the Contract Administrator, R. Kelly at Rkelly@wmata.com no later than March 14, 2016. WMATA will provide written answers, by email to all those who obtain the IFB and provide their email address.
