Temporary Detour: Capitol Hill Classic 3K, 10K Race & Fun Run, May 21

Routes 90, 92, 96, B2, D6 and X8 will detour for the 36th Annual Capitol Hill Classic 3k, 10k Race & Fun Run.

During this time the following streets will be closed:

• C St NE (south side of Stanton Park) between 5th St NE & 4th St NE
• Maryland Ave NE from 4th St NE to 2nd St NE/ Constitution
• Constitution Ave NE from 2nd St to 1st St NE
• 1st St NE from Constitution Ave NE to Independence Ave NE
• Independence Ave SE from 1st St SE to 3rd St SE
• 3rd St SE from Independence Ave to East Capitol SE
• East Capitol SE from 3rd St SE to 22nd St NE, going around the south side of Lincoln Park

X8 Maryland Ave westbound to Union Station

Regular route, no detour.

X8 Maryland Ave eastbound to Carver Terrace

Buses begin detouring on Massachusetts Ave at Columbus Circle to resume regular route on D St at Maryland Ave NE

Routes 90, 92 U St-Garfield northbound toward Ellington Bridge/Reeves Center-14th & U and southbound toward Anacostia/Congress Heights will not detour. Buses may experience delays while crossing East Capitol St at 8th St SE as runners pass through the intersection.

96 East Capitol Heights Street-Cardozo eastbound toward Capitol Heights Station
