Routes Affected: Q1, Q2, Q4, Q5, Q6
On Sunday, September 26, 2021, routes Q1, Q2, Q4, Q5, and Q6 will detour from the start of service to 8:30 am due to the 2021 Parks Half Marathon. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow additional travel time.
The following routes will detour:
Q1, Q2, Q5, Q6 Veirs Mill Road northbound toward Shady Grove Station
Q4 Veirs Mill Road northbound toward Rockville Station
- Buses begin detouring on Frederick Rd at Redland Rd, resuming regular route to Shady Grove Metro Station (stop #2001283) from Somerville Dr.
Q1, Q2, Q4 Veirs Mill Road southbound toward Silver Spring Station
Q5, Q6 Veirs Mill Road southbound toward Wheaton Station
- Buses begin detouring on Somerville Drive from Shady Grove Metro Station (stop #2001283), resuming regular route on Frederick Rd at Redland Rd.
