Routes Affected: A4, W4, W5

Buses will detour due to construction on Firth Sterling Ave SE btwn South Capitol St and Suitland Pkwy. Buses are prohibited from accessing Coast Guard Headquarters due to a road closure. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow additional travel time.

The following routes will detour:

A4 Anacostia – Fort Drum northbound toward Anacostia Station

· No detour

A4 Anacostia – Fort Drum southbound toward DC Village via Fort Drum

· Buses begin detouring at Anacostia terminal stand, resuming regular route on Howard Rd SE at Martin Luther King Jr Ave SE.

W4 Deanwood – Alabama Ave northbound toward Deanwood Station

· Buses begin detouring at Anacostia Station terminal stand, resuming regular route on Martin Luther King Jr Ave SE at Malcolm X Ave.

W4 Deanwood – Alabama Ave southbound toward Anacostia Station

· Buses begin detouring on Martin Luther King Jr Ave SE at Malcolm X Ave, resuming regular route at Anacostia Station terminal stand.

W5 Anacostia – Blue Plains northbound toward Coast Guard HQ via Anacostia

· Buses begin detouring on Chesapeake St SE at Anacostia Freeway, resuming regular route at Anacostia Station terminal stand.

W5 Anacostia – Blue Plains southbound toward DC Village via Blue Plains

· Buses begin detouring at Anacostia Station terminal stand, resuming regular route on Malcolm X Ave SE at South Capitol St.
