Metro service information for Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 2021

On Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 25, 2021, Metro will operate service as follows:
Metrorail
Hours: Service will operate from 7 a.m. until midnight. Trains will serve 89 of 91 stations and parking will be free at all Metro owned garages and parking lots.
Service: Customers are advised that service will continue to operate at reduced levels as Metro develops a test plan and restoration plan to return the 7000-series railcars to passenger service. Metro does not yet have a timetable for when full service will be restored.
Trains every 12 minutes. Shady Grove and Rockville stations closed. Free shuttle buses provided between Shady Grove, Rockville and Twinbrook. Express shuttle buses will not operate on the holiday.
Trains every 24 minutes.
Trains every 20 minutes.
Please note, at nearly 75 percent of stations trains arrive at least every 10-12 minutes, as many stations are served by multiple lines.

Metrobus
Buses will operate on a Sunday schedule. Buses that do not normally operate on Sunday will not run. Schedules vary by route, check timetables for detailed schedule information.
MetroAccess
Subscription trips will be canceled. Customers wishing to travel on the holiday should make a separate reservation online or by calling 301-562-5360 (TTY 301-588-7535).
