The Metro Ambassador program began in January 2023 and now has over 25 dedicated Ambassadors. They serve as a bridge between Metro, customers, and the community, actively engaging with customers on trains, at stations, and on platforms.
Their primary role is to provide proactive customer service to Metro's ridership. They also prioritize safety and smooth operations, acting as the eyes and ears of the system.
The Metro Ambassadors take pride in improving the customer experience. They are always available to help with any questions, concerns, or assistance needed.
The Ambassadors went through an extensive training program, including:
- Customer service best practices
- System overview
- Station & equipment familiarization
- Procedures and reports
- Radio communications
- Incident and emergencies
- CPR certification
- Shadowing Rail Station Supervisors across the system
The uniforms are casual bright pieces to project friendliness and visibility. Look out for:
