WMATA requires the services of qualified contractor(s) to provide a diverse range of electrical construction services on elements within WMATA to include facilities, stations, lighting, power, fire alarm, fare vending, panel boards and grounding. The work includes major and minor electrical repair, electrical modifications, electrical rehabilitations, electrical alterations, electrical demolition and new electrical projects as indicated in the associated Contract Documents and as outlined in each issued task order. Individual tasks orders will be issued on a competitive basis throughout the ordering period of these Multiple Award Task Order Contracts.
This Request for Proposal is for Multiple Awards Task Order Contracts (MATOC). A MATOC is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity electrical services contract. This single solicitation will yield multiple awards of IDIQ contracts and Task Orders will be issued in the form of Invitation for Bid (IFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP) to the selected contractors through competitive basis and work is accomplished by means of issuance of a Task Order (TO) to awardees on a competitive basis. Under the terms of the Task Order Contract, the Contractors will furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, project management, quality control, testing, transportation, safety, appurtenance, and other items necessary for repair/rehabilitation of WMATA facilities and infrastructure System-wide.
