The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is soliciting bids for the rehabilitation, renovations and built-outs of a newly acquired WMATA Facility located in Lanham, Maryland. The work includes, among other activities, electrical and plumbing upgrades; Fire protection modification, painting, flooring replacement, fencing, furniture, coordinating the moving of various equipment in the facility. The performance period for the entire project is approximately 8 months from the issuance of notice to proceed.
The Solicitation documents will be made available on WMATA’s Project Management Software System (Procore). Please send your request for a copy of the solicitation documents via electronic mail to Nichel Crooks and Purnanshu Mehta at firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com. In the subject field, please enter, “Solicitation FQ17125/NAC Request for Solicitation Documents”. You must provide your email address for you to be given access. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on September 26, 2017 at 10:00AM, in the Board Room on the Lobby Level of WMATA’s Jackson Graham Building, 600 Fifth Street, NW Washington DC 20001. Following the Pre-Bid Meeting, a site visit has been scheduled.
Bids for the Work described herein shall be submitted by 2:00 PM (Local time) on October 11, 2017. All Bidders responding to this Solicitation must utilize Procore. Bidders must upload an electronic copy of their Bid to Procore prior to Bid closing. Immediately after bid closing, bids will be made publicly visible in the WMATA Meeting Room, Lobby Level, 600 Fifth Street, NW Washington DC 20001.
