Synopsis
The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) requires qualified contractors to supply all of its requirements for an estimated 85 various types of inventory kits for the mid-life overhaul of the 2008-2010 New Flyer Low Floor Advanced (LFA) buses and 2008 NABI buses for WMATA bus numbers 3751-3770, 5431-5452, and 6301-6609. This RFP contains a 1% percent DBE goal. A requirements contract will be issued to each contractor who provides the lowest price for each kit, assuming that all of the parts in the kit are technically acceptable.
