Synopsis
This multi-year (1 Base, 3 Option) on-call testing requirement is for a contractor to provide all necessary labor, tools, materials, and equipment required to automatically inspect WMATA rail system utilizing a hi-rail or rail bound vehicle to collect track geometry measurements. Inspection measurements shall include track gauge, curvature, cross level, super elevation, 31’ and 62’ warp, 31’ twist, track alignments (horizontal & vertical), third rail measurements, platform measurements and rail profiles for both left and right rails.
