Date of Invitation: October 28, 2016 Receipt of Bid: November 16, 2016 DBE Goal: 14% Project Description: T29 Montgomery Bus Building Roof Replacement

SYNOPSIS The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) requires the services of qualified roofing contractors to provide services for roof rehabilitation and replacement work including but not limited to demolition, repair, replacement and modification. Period of performance: 270 Calendar Days. Bid Guarantee, Insurance, and DBE: A bid guarantee of 5% of total base and option year is required. The contract includes a DBE goal of 14% if the bid amount is greater than $100,000. An insurance certificate for Commercial General Liability coverages with WMATA included as an additional insured as stated in the IFB. Pre-Bid Conference: Site Visit will be held on November 4, 2016. Bid Opening: Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00pm on November 16, 2016 at WMATA’s Headquarter, 600 Fifth Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001, Office of Procurement and Materials, Attention Mr. Kamoru Banjo, Contract Administrator. Please identify the solicitation number and number of amendments received on the bid package. Questions: As always, should you have any questions, Technical, Contractual or Administrative please email them to the Contract Administrator, Mr. Kamoru Banjo at kkbanjo@wmata.com no later than 5:00 PM, November 7, 2016. WMATA will provide written answers, by email to all those who obtain the IFB and provide their email addresses. If addendum is issued resulting from questions and answers, it will be posted on WMATA website. Bidder is responsible for checking WMATA website regularly for securing downloads of addendum and other communications.
