Synopsis
Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s (WMATA) Office of System Maintenance is seeking Proposals from qualified firms to enter into a Contract to provide personal protective safety flame resistant clothing and accessories in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) regulations at 29 C.F.R. § 1910, Subparts S and I. Offeror’s must include certification of compliance with these regulations with technical submittals.
The resultant Contractor will effectively manage a program that provides specified apparel; regular inspections; needed replacement/upgrades; tailoring services for apparel and accessories as required. Additionally the Contractor will be responsible for proper laundering of the safety apparel in accordance with industry standards.
The RFP is available September 2, 2016 on WMATA website. Questions regarding the RFP must be received by close of business September 15, 2016. Please submit all questions to Contract Administrator, Doris Boggs, via email at dboggs@wmata.com. Questions cannot be answered after specified time and date. Proposals are due by 2:00pm est 9/28/16
