Synopsis
Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide yearly Weed Control Services on the ballasted track sections and the Right of Way fence base. Two applications of a special mix of WMATA approved chemicals are sprayed throughout the system each year.
A pre-bid conference will not be held. Your bid must be submitted in accordance with IFB terms and delivered to WMATA’s, Office of Procurement and Materials, 600 Fifth Street, N.W., Room 3C02, Washington, DC 20001. Bids must be no later than 2:00 P.M. on March 16, 2016. If you have any questions, Technical, Contractual or Administrative please email them to the Contract Administrator, LaTonja P. Ware at lpware@wmata.com no later than 12:00 PM, March 11, 2016. WMATA will provide written answers, by email to all those who obtain the IFB and provide their email addresses.
