Synopsis

RFP No. FQ16032 – Treat and Vulnerability Assessment (TVA) for Dulles Extension. The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA/Metro) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to participate in the primary objective of this agreement to have a comprehensive assessment of an existing Phase 2 Package “A” Threat and Vulnerability Assessment (“TVA”) against the 100% Design Submittals submitted by Capitol Rail Contractors. The awardee would be responsible for providing a post construction TVA for the erected structures in Phase 2 Package “A”. They would be responsible for providing a preconstruction TVA for Phase 2 Package “B” and a post construction TVA for the aforementioned package. The TVA will consist of a security risk assessment of the DCMP infrastructure, facilities and adjacent facilities if appropriate, rolling stock, procedures, and security activities, both operational and capital. The assessment will provide appropriate mitigation measures including resources and milestones associated with implementation of the recommendations.
