Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Invitation-For-Bid (IFB) FQ15155/WJG “Bus Bay, Safety and Access Improvements at Franconia Springfield Metro Rail Station”

WMATA requires the services of a qualified contractor to provide bus bay, safety and access improvements at the Franconia Springfield Metro Rail Station.

The scope of this project will consist of additional bus bays including bus shelters; electrical power; access improvements; safety improvements.

A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for April 20, 2015 at 9:00am; Location: Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, 600 Fifth Street, NW Washington DC 20001, Meeting Room.

WMATA requests no more than two representatives from each Firm attend the Pre-Bid Meeting. In order for WMATA to have the correct number of handouts available, please confirm your attendance by electronic mail, by providing your name, firm name and the number of persons (no more than two) attending to the Contract Administrator at wgeroux@wmata.com by close of business April 16, 2015. In the “Subject” line of your email, please insert “Solicitation FQ15155/WJG Pre-Bid Meeting”.

A site visit will conducted the same day, April 20, 2015 at 1:30 PM; transportation will not be provided.

NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT: Please note: A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) MUST be executed between WMATA and Bidder for release of specifications and drawings related to design of bus shelters. You are required to complete the “Recipient” portion of the attached “Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement for Proposers for IFB FQ15155” and send it as an attachment, via electronic mail to the attention of William Geroux, Contract Administrator at wgeroux@wmata.com. In the “Subject” line of your email, please insert “Solicitation FQ15155 NDA.” To ensure you are provided the specifications and drawings, please insert in the body of your electronic mail, your name, firm address, telephone number, AND electronic email address. Please do not forget to attach the NDA. A copy of the NDA, fully executed by the WMATA Contracting Officer will be returned to you via electronic mail along with the specifications and drawings.
