Synopsis
Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide explosives for training purposes for the Metro Transit Police Department Explosive Ordnance Disposal technicians and canine handlers. These specialized units utilize live explosives in routine training for detection and disruption of potential explosive devices. NOTE: The IFB contains a 0% percent DBE Goal requirement.
A pre-bid conference will not be held. Your bid must be submitted in accordance with IFB terms and delivered to WMATA’s, Office of Procurement and Materials, 600 Fifth Street, N.W., Room 3C02, Washington, DC 20001. Bids must be no later than 2:00 P.M. on April 22, 2015. If you have any questions, Technical, Contractual or Administrative please email them to the Contract Administrator, Celena Cochrane at ccochrane@wmata.com no later than 12:00 PM, April 2, 2015. If an amendment is issued resulting from questions and answers, it will be posted on our website.
