Metro is  committed to advancing its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program to reinvest in the local economy, create jobs and encourage participation from disadvantaged, minority-owned, and small businesses in the region.

Regional Contracting, a woman-owned business founded in 2001, provides civil construction support for the Platform Improvement Project. The team has worked on all four phases, designating crew members to specific tasks across stations to support the project. During construction, Regional Contracting provides American-made materials, including windscreens, bathroom accessories, doors, frames and blast-resistant trash cans. These customer amenities help enhance the customer experience at the station and improve system safety.
