Metrobus to resume service to all routes beginning at noon

Metrobus will restore service to all lines that normally operate on weekdays beginning at noon today. Buses will operate on their regular weekday schedule, with isolated detours possible in areas where icy roads or hazardous conditions persist.

Shuttle bus service is being provided as scheduled for the Platform Improvement Project at Arlington Cemetery and Addison Rd. Free shuttle buses are operating between Rosslyn, Arlington Cemetery and Pentagon; and between Capital Heights and Addison Rd.

Metrorail and MetroAccess service remain unchanged and continue to operate normal service. Customers are advised to use caution at bus stops, parking lots, walkways and stations. Even as roads have been treated and cleared throughout the region, untreated surfaces may remain slippery and wet as temperatures warm through the day.

Before traveling, customers may check wmata.com for a list of possible detours. Additional service information will be provided through MetroAlerts text and email messages, at wmata.com/alerts and on social media @MetrobusInfo @MetrorailInfo. To stay informed customers may receive notifications of service changes by bus route or rail line by signing up for MetroAlerts.
