Temporary Detour: National Honor Guard and Pipe Band Tribute, May 14

On Wednesday, May 14, buses will detour from 2:00pm until 9:30pm due to the National Guard and Pipe Band Tribute. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible.

Street Closure:

• F Street between 5th Streets to New Jersey Avenue, NW

• E Street between 5th Street to New Jersey Avenue, NW

• New Jersey Avenue between F Street and E Street, NW

The following routes will detour:

D6 Sibley Hospital Stadium – Armory eastbound towards Stadium Armory

• Buses begin detouring on E St, NW at 6th St, resuming regular route on Massachusetts Ave, NE at 1st St.

D6 Sibley Hospital Stadium – Armory westbound towards Sibley Hospital

• Buses begin detouring on Massachusetts Ave, NE at E St, resuming regular route on E St, NW at 7th St.

33 Wisconsin Ave

• Buses will operate between Friendship Heights Station and a bus stop located on N Capitol St, NW at E St (stop ID #1001022).
