On Saturday, August 23, from 6am through 8pm, buses will detour because of construction. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible.

- Florida Ave between 3rd Street and 4th Street, NE
The following route will detour:
C53 U St – Congress Heights northbound towards Woodley Park
- Lane shift only.
C53 U St – Congress Heights southbound towards Congress Heights
- Buses begin detouring on Florida Ave, NE at First St, resuming regular route on Florida Ave, NE at 7th St.
