Temporary Detour: Shrine of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Event on April 3

On Friday, April 3, from 6:30pm until 9:30pm, buses will detour due to an event at the Shrine of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Please sign up for MetroAlerts at www.wmata.com/metroalerts for service information.

 

Street Closures:

  • Park Rd between Mt Pleasant St and 14th St, NW
  • Mt Pleasant St between Park Rd and Irving St, NW
  • Irving St between Mt Pleasant St and 14th St, NW
  • 14th St between Irving St and Park Rd, NW

 

The following routes will detour:

 

C61 Brookland-Tenleytown eastbound towards Brookland

  • Buses begin detouring on Adams Mill Rd, NW at Irving St, resuming regular route on Irving St, NW at 11th St.

C61 Brookland-Tenleytown westbound towards Tenleytown

  • No detour required.

C87 Silver Spring-Tenleytown

  • Buses will operate between Silver Spring and a bus stop located on Adams Mill Rd, NW at Klingle Rd (stop ID# 1002118).

D50 14th St northbound towards 14th & Colorado

  • Buses begin detouring on 14th St, NW at Harvard St, resuming regular route on 14th St, NW at Webster St.

D50 14th St southbound towards Waterfront

  • Buses begin detouring on 14th St, NW at Gallatin St, resuming regular route on 14th St, NW at T St.

D5X 14th St Limited northbound towards Takoma
