Temporary Detour: Glen Carlyn Good Friday Parade on April 3

Routes Affected: A49, A66, F20, F26

On Friday, April 3, from 4:15pm until 9:15pm, buses will detour due to the Glen Carlyn Good Friday Parade. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible.

Street Closures:

• Glen Carlyn Rd between Fairview Pl & Knollwood Dr
• Vista Dr between Glen Carlyn Dr & Haven Pl
• Knollwood Dr between Haven Pl & Glen Carlyn Dr

The following routes will detour:

A49 Columbia Pike – Metro Center 

• Buses will operate between Metro Center and a bus stop located on Leesburg Pk at Carlin Springs Rd (stop ID #5000978).

A66 Pentagon – Culmore

• Buses will operate between Pentagon and a bus stop located on Leesburg Pk at Carlin Springs Rd (stop ID #5000978).

F20 Leesburg Pike eastbound towards King St – Old Town

• Buses begin detouring on Leesburg Pk at Patrick Henry Dr, resuming regular route on Carlin Spring Rd at #3437.

F20 Leesburg Pike westbound towards Tysons

• Buses begin detouring on Carling Springs Rd at Columbia Pk, resuming regular route on Leesburg Pk at Patrick Henry Dr.

F26 E Falls Church – Annandale eastbound towards East Falls Church

• Buses begin detouring on Columbia Pk at Tyler St, resuming regular route on Leesburg Pk at Patrick Henry Dr.

F26 E Falls Church – Annandale westbound towards NVCC – Annandale

• Buses begin detouring on Leesburg Pk at Partick Henry Dr, resuming regular route on Columbia Pk at Blair Rd.
