Temporary Detour: Del Ray Christmas Tree Lighting, December 7

Routes Affected: 10A, 10B
On Saturday, December 7, from 4:00pm until 9:00pm, buses will detour because of the Del Ray Christmas Tree Lighting. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible.
Street Closures:
• Mount Vernon Avenue between E. Custis Avenue and Mount Ida Avenue
• E. Del Ray Avenue to Uhler Avenue and the 200 block of E. Oxford Avenue
The following routes will detour:
10A Alexandria-Pentagon northbound towards Pentagon Station
• Buses will begin detouring on Mount Vernon Ave at E Monroe Ave resuming regular route on Mount Vernon Ave at Kennedy St.
10A Alexandria-Pentagon southbound towards Huntington
• Buses will begin detouring on Mount Vernon Ave at Commonwealth Ave resuming regular route on Mount Vernon Ave at E Mason Ave.
10B Hunting Point-Ballston northbound towards Ballston
• Buses will begin detouring on Mount Vernon Ave at E Monroe Ave resuming regular route on Mount Vernon Ave at Kennedy St.
10B Hunting Point-Ballston southbound towards Hunting Point
• Buses will begin detouring on Mount Vernon Ave at Commonwealth Ave resuming regular route on Mount Vernon Ave at E Mason Ave.
