Route G2 End of Long Term Detour and Route Restoration, March 17

Route Affected: G2
At the beginning of service on Monday, March 17, Route G2 will re-route to 3rd Street as it operated in 2015. The eastbound bus stops towards LeDroit Park-Howard University located on 4th St NW at T St (stop ID#1003839) and 4th St NW at U St (stop ID#1003830) will permanently close because of the end of the G2 detour.
The westbound bus stops towards Georgetown University located on 4th St NW at P St (stop ID#1003073), 3rd St NW at R St (stop ID#1001561), 3rd St NW at Rhode Island Ave (stop ID#1001612) and 3rd St NW at U St (stop ID#1001682) and the eastbound bus stops towards LeDroit Park-Howard University located on New Jersey Ave at P St (stop ID#1001450), 3rd St NW at Florida Ave (stop ID#1001575), 3rd St NW at Rhode Island Ave (stop ID#1001601), and 3rd St NW at U St (stop ID#1003074) will be reinstalled.
Street Closures:
- S Street NW between New Jersey Avenue NW & Florida Avenue
The following route will detour:
G2 P Street – LeDroit Park eastbound towards LeDroit Park – Howard University
- Buses begin detouring on P St NW at New Jersey Ave, resuming regular route on V St NW at 4th St.
- Buses begin detouring on Bryant St NW at #301, resuming regular route on P St NW at 5th St.
