Temporary Detour: Wreaths Across America, December 16

Routes Affected: 10A, 16A, 16C, 16M
On Saturday, December 16, from 5:30am to 2:30pm buses will detour due to the Wreaths Across America event. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible. Consider Metrorail as an alternate travel option.
Street Closures:
From 6:00 a.m. until 6:45 a.m.
- Northbound S. Eads Street, between 15th Street South and 18th Street South
From 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Marshall Drive, between N. Meade Street and Rt. 110
- N. Meade Street, from 14th Street N. to Marshall Drive
- Columbia Pike, from South Joyce Street to Rotary Road
- Additional road closures will be implemented in locations along I-395, the George Washington Parkway, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, and the Pentagon Reservation by the United States Park Police, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall Police, and the Pentagon Force Protection Agency
The following routes will detour:
- Route 10A will detour approximately from 5:30 a.m. until 7:30 a.m.
10A Alexandria-Pentagon northbound to Pentagon
- Buses begin detouring on S Eads at 18th St S, resuming regular route on S Hayes St at 15th St.
10A Alexandria-Pentagon southbound to Huntington
- Buses begin detouring on 15th St S at S Hayes St, resuming regular route on 18th St S at S Eads St.
16A Columbia Pike eastbound to Pentagon
- Buses begin detouring on Columbia Pike at S. Joyce St, resuming regular route on S Eads St at S Rotary Rd.
16A Columbia Pike westbound to Annandale via Columbia Pike
- No Detour
16C Columbia Pike eastbound to Pentagon
- Buses begin detouring on Columbia Pike at S. Joyce St, resuming regular route on S Eads St at S Rotary Rd.
16C Columbia Pike westbound to Culmore
- No Detour
16M Columbia Pike – National Landing eastbound to Crystal City
- No Detour
16M Columbia Pike – National Landing westbound to Skyline City
- Buses begin detouring on 18th St S at S Eads St, resuming regular route on 18th St S at S Hayes St.
