Temporary Detour: DC Emancipation Day Parade and Festival Build Out on April 17

Routes Affected: D10, D1X, D40, D4X

Beginning on Friday, April 17, at 6:00pm through Monday, April 20, at 6:00am, buses will detour due to the DC Emancipation Day Parade and Festival build out. Please sign up for MetroAlerts at www.wmata.com/metroalerts for service information.

Street Closures:

• Pennsylvania Ave between 12th St and 14th St, NW
• 13th St between E St and Pennsylvania Ave, NW

The following routes will detour:

D10 Pennsylvania Ave eastbound towards Southern Ave

• Buses begin detouring on 13th St, NW at E St, resuming regular route on Pennsylvania Ave, SE at 6th St.

D10 Pennsylvania Ave westbound towards Kennedy Center

• Buses begin detouring on Pennsylvania Ave, SE at 6th St, resuming regular route on 13th St, NW at G St.

D1X Pennsylvania Ave Limited

• Buses will operate between Naylor Rd Station and a bus stop located on Pennsylvania Ave, SE at 8th St (Bus Stop #1000654).

D40 7th St-Georgia Ave

• Buses will operate between Silver Spring Station and a bus stop located on 9th St, NW at F St (Bus Stop #1001055).

D4X 7th St-Georgia Ave Limited

• Buses will operate between Silver Spring Station and a bus stop located on 7th St, NW at H St (Bus Stop #1003418).
