Temporary Detour: 2023 Annual Marine Corps Marathon, October 29

Routes Affected: 4B, 7A, 10A, 16A, 16C, 16E, 22A, 23A, 23B, 32, 33, 36, 38B, 42, 43, 52, 70, 74, 79, D6, P6, S2, MW1-Metroway
On Sunday, October 29 buses will detour due to the Annual Marine Corps Marathon. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible.
Buses will not service Pentagon Transit Center during these events. Routes serving Pentagon Transit Center will begin and end service at Pentagon City Station (S Hayes St and 12th St S).
The following routes will detour:
Virginia
4B Perishing Dr-Arlington Blvd
- Buses will operate between Seven Corners and a temporary bus stop located on N Oak St at 18th St N.
7A Landmark-North Fairlington
- Buses will operate between Van Dorn Station and Pentagon City Station (S Hayes St and 12th St S).
10A Alexandria-Pentagon
- Buses will operate between Huntington Station and a bus stop located at Pentagon City Station (stop ID#6001409).
16A, 16C, 16E Columbia Pike
- Buses will operate between Annandale/Culmore and a bus stop located at Pentagon City Station (stop ID#6001409).
22A Barcroft-South Fairlington
- Buses will operate between Ballston and a bus stop located at Pentagon City Station (stop ID#6001409).
23A Mclean -Crystal City eastbound towards Crystal City
23B Mclean -Crystal City eastbound towards Crystal City
- Buses begin detouring on 23rd St at Richmond Hwy, resuming regular route on S Bell St at 15th St.
23A Mclean -Crystal City westbound towards Tysons
23B Mclean -Crystal City westbound towards Ballston
- Buses begin detouring on S Bell St at 18th St, resuming regular route on 23rd St at Eads St.
38B Ballston-Farragut Square
- Buses will operate between Ballston Station and a temporary bus stop located on N Oak St at 18th St N.
MW1 Metroway-Potomac Yard northbound towards Pentagon City
- Buses begin detouring on Crystal City Dr at 23rd St, resuming regular route on S Bell St at 15th St.
