Temporary Bus Stop Closures: W Abingdon Drive on July 30

On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 9:00am until 7:00pm, the southbound bus stops on W Abingdon Drive in Alexandria will temporarily close due to construction on the railroad crossing. Please sign up for MetroAlerts at www.wmata.com/metroalerts for service information. 

The following stops will be closed: 

  • W Abingdon Drive at Slaters Lane (stop ID#4000255) 
  • W Abingdon Drive at Bashford Lane (stop ID#4000970) 
  • W Abingdon Drive at 2nd Street (stop ID#4000193) 

Customers may board/exit buses at the following alternate locations: 

  • Temporary Drop-off Only on near side of N Washington Street at First Street 
  • Boarding available on N Washington Street at Montgomery Street (stop ID#4000153)
