Shady Grove South Parking Garage - Construction Notice

Advisory Effective: 6/1/24 - 9/30/25

Metro is currently repairing the south parking garage. To facilitate this repair work, up to 25% of parking spaces will be closed through late summer 2025. While we improve the parking garage to enhance safety and deliver a better customer experience, customers should expect reduced parking availability during this time.

Customer Information

• The south parking garage will remain open during construction, but parking will be limited.
• The remaining parking facilities will remain open, with no parking impacts.
• Elevators and stairwells will remain open and accessible while the work is underway.

Safety

• All construction zones will be clearly marked. For your safety, stay clear of the construction zones and follow all posted signs.
• Be prepared for loud noises and traffic/pedestrian detours throughout construction.
• Vehicles parked in marked construction zones will be subject to towing. If your vehicle is towed, please call Metro Transit Police at 202-962-2121.
