Metrobus to Operate Severe Snow Plan: Monday, January 6

Due to extreme weather conditions, Metrobus is operating on a severe snow service plan. In a severe service plan, Metrobus service will be limited to major roads only, with service on most routes suspended. Detours will be in effect on certain routes to avoid areas prone to hazardous conditions such as hilly terrain and narrow streets.

Metrobus will continue the service day on a severe snow service plan on Monday, January 6. As roadways become passable, additional service changes are possible throughout the day. 
Customers should allow additional travel time and use caution on sidewalks and at bus stops. Bus customers are also encouraged to consider using Metrorail as an alternative, as no weather-related impacts to rail service are anticipated at this time.
