Purple Line Construction Impacts - Bethesda Station
Advisory Effective: 7/8/24 - 4/30/25
Construction activity for the future MTA Purple Line in Bethesda will include controlled blasting weekdays between 10 am and 3 pm beginning on or about July 8, 2024 through April 2025.
CUSTOMER IMPACTS:
- Trains may temporarily hold outside the station for several minutes. Minor delays on the Red Line are possible.
- During the controlled blasting, customers inside the station may need to exit temporarily and re-enter once blasting is completed.
- Customers may hear loud noises during this time.
- For your safety, follow all posted signs and directions from onsite safety personnel.
