Daily Service Report for Tuesday, January 05, 2021

5:09 a.m. Red Line service at Silver Spring station was temporarily suspended due to a safety precaution. Shuttle bus service was provided. Customers experienced delays up to 30 minutes until approximately 5:45 a.m.

4:50 p.m. A Shady Grove-bound Red Line train at Glenmont did not operate, resulting in a 5-minute gap in service.

6:15 p.m. A Greenbelt-bound Green Line train at Greenbelt was delayed due to a 3^rd rail power problem. As a result, Green Line service was temporarily suspended between Greenbelt and College Park stations. Shuttle bus service was provided. Customers experienced delays up to 40 minutes until approximately 7:15 p.m.

7:09 p.m. Yellow and Green line service at West Hyattsville station was temporarily suspended due to a safety precaution. Shuttle bus service was provided. Customers experienced delays up to 30 minutes until approximately 9:00 p.m.

9:36 p.m. Yellow and Green line service at Prince George’s Plaza station was temporarily suspended due to a safety precaution. Shuttle bus service was provided. Customers experienced delays up to 30 minutes until approximately 11:00 p.m.
