A49 Columbia Pike-Metro Center
The A49 operates between Metro Center Station and Culmore, near Bailey's Crossroads. Service runs only on weekdays during morning and evening rush hours. It follows a route similar to the former 16Y route, extending to serve Culmore via Columbia Pike and Leesburg Pike. The A49 also follows a route similar to the former 16C route between Culmore and Columbia Pike/S Courthouse Road during peak periods. It provides connections to Farragut Square and Metro Center Station.
