Metro service information for Labor Day 2016

 On Labor Day, Monday, September 5, 2016, Metro service will operate as follows:

Metrorail: The system will open at 7 a.m. and close at midnight. Trains will operate on a Sunday schedule. Off-peak fares will be in effect all day, and parking will be free at all Metrorail parking facilities. Take note of scheduled service adjustments on the Red, Orange, Silver and Blue lines.

Metrobus: Buses will operate on a Sunday schedule. Check bus timetables for details.

MetroAccess: All subscription trips will be cancelled on Monday. Customers wishing to travel on the holiday should make a separate reservation.

In addition, Metro's customer information call center will be closed Monday in observance of the holiday. Automated information is available 24/7 by calling (202) 637-7000.
