D6X 16 St Limited

The D6X operates a limited-stop service between Silver Spring Station and Archives Station. Using 16th Street NW, it provides service to Colonial Village, Brightwood, Meridian Hill, McPherson Square Station and Metro Center Station. The D6X follows a route similar to the former S2 route and covers the shortened portion of the D60 between Franklin Square and Federal Triangle Station. It also follows the former S9 route, and extends to Federal Triangle Station via 11th Street NW. The D6X also follows the former D33 and W45 routes between 16th Street NW/Military Road NW and 16th Street NW/Shepherd Street NW.
