Weekend track work: Modified service on Green and Yellow lines; single tracking on Green, Orange, and Silver lines
Metro will perform track work and maintenance this weekend, Saturday, Nov. 22 and Sunday, Nov. 23, affecting service on the Green, Yellow, Orange, and Silver lines. Customers should expect longer waits and different train patterns on lines with single tracking.
Crews will conduct platform edge lighting replacement on the Orange and Silver lines and grout pad rehabilitation for smoother rides on the Green Line.
Service Information
Green Line: Single tracking between Navy Yard and Anacostia. Modified service with trains running every 16 minutes between Branch Av and Mt. Vernon Square.
Yellow Line: Modified service with trains running every 8 minutes between Huntington and Greenbelt.
Orange Line: Single tracking between East Falls Church and Ballston-MU with trains running every 18 minutes.
Silver Line: Single tracking between East Falls Church and Ballston-MU with trains running every 18 minutes in D.C. and Virginia and every 36 minutes on the New Carrollton and Downtown Largo branches.
Red Line: Normal service
Blue Line: Normal service
