Metro service information and track work for Memorial Day Weekend
Metro is conducting track work on the Blue, Silver, and Green lines this holiday weekend.
On Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, Metrorail will open at 7 a.m. and close at midnight. Metrobus will operate on a Sunday schedule. MetroAccess customers may make a reservation to travel on the holiday; however, subscription trips will be canceled. Normal weekday fares will be in effect on the holiday.
Work crews on the Blue and Silver lines will install radio and fiber-optic cables for communications, and perform maintenance and repairs to the tracks, drains, and aerial structure. On the Green Line, crews will replace concrete grout pads that support the tracks and waterproofing work.

Sunday - Monday: Free shuttle buses replace trains between Addison Road and Downtown Largo. Morgan Boulevard and Downtown Largo stations are closed. Normal Service frequencies with trains operating between Franconia-Springfield and Addison Road.
Sunday - Monday: Free shuttle buses replace trains between Addison Road and Downtown Largo. Morgan Boulevard and Downtown Largo stations are closed. Normal Service frequencies with trains operating from Addison Road to Ashburn.
Saturday-Sunday: Trains single track between Naylor Road and Branch Avenue. Trains run every 8 minutes between Greenbelt and Southern Avenue and every 16 minutes between Southern Avenue and Branch Avenue.

Parking will be free at all Metro-owned parking lots and garages during the weekend and on the Memorial Day holiday
Weekend fares will be in effect on Saturday and Sunday, and normal weekday fares will apply on Monday.

- All subscription trips will be canceled on Memorial Day.
