Weekend track work: Buses replace trains between Medical Center and Van Ness on Red Line Feb 22-23
On Saturday and Sunday, the Red Line will operate in two segments between Shady Grove and Medical Center and between Van Ness and Glenmont due to track maintenance.
Shuttle buses replace trains between Medical Center and Van Ness.
Crews will be working to replace the switch machines in the interlocking where trains are able to cross between separate tracks.
Service Information
Red Line: Trains will run every 8 minutes during the day and every 10 minutes after 9:30 p.m. between Shady Grove and Medical Center.
Trains will run every 8 minutes during the day and every 10 minutes after 9:30 p.m. between Van Ness and Glenmont. Trains will be single tracking at Van Ness only.
