Career Spotlight

There are many teams and projects in the Infrastructure portfolio you can join. One example is the Communications and Signaling (COSI) team - a department embarking upon the latest technology to revamp the agency's train signaling system. This team is led by Tiffani Jenkins, a 17-year transportation industry veteran. She initially joined Metro in 2006 as a power systems engineer and now leads COSI. Tiffani holds the primary responsibility over the development and management of the Automatic Train Control (ATC) capital program, leading the agency efforts in delivering the next generation train control system for WMATA. The COSI team collaborates across the organization to provide WMATA's customers with the best product possible in alignment with the core responsibilities to develop and manage:

• State of Good Repair program for the current ATC System
• ATC infrastructure program to deliver signal system improvements
• The Signal System Modernization (NextGen) program
