Art in Transit Mural Celebration with Friendship Heights Alliance and Artist Nicole Bourgea

Celebrate Friendship Heights Alliance's latest mural with a fun party and a chance to meet the artist! On Wednesday, Sept. 30, 4:30-6:30 pm, the Friendship Heights Alliance and Metro invite neighbors to meet artist Nicole Bourgea and celebrate music, art and community at the Jenifer Street side of the Lord & Taylor building.

The mural, titled Transformation, was curated by Pipkin Creative and created in partnership with Metro (which owns the building) and Metro's Art in Transit program. This is Friendship Heights Alliance’s second mural on the building, and both are the backdrop for new furniture, flowers, and other placemaking elements.
