Bicycles provide a flexible last mile transportation option, extending your Metro trip. Metro's bicycle parking facilities include:
- Bicycle racks: Convenient places to lock your bicycle at most Metro Rail stations
- Bike & Rides: Free and secure facilities at eight stations
- Bicycle Lockers: New bike lockers and smart racks are beginning to roll out to support your adventures
- Bikes on Metro Bus: Bus bicycle racks located on the front of all Metro Buses
- Bikes on Metro Rail: Bring your bike on Metro Rail
Ride Safely
Enjoy peace of mind when you use our bicycle facilities by following these security tips: Register your bicycle with Metro Transit Police to help identify and recover it if needed. Lock your bicycle securely with a u-lock to clasp both your rear wheel and frame onto the bicycle rack. Consider using an auxiliary cable to lock your front wheel, for extra security.Don't forget to remove any valuables, such as lights or accessories, from your bicycle.

Bicycle Rider Age Limits
Anyone under the age of 16 bringing a bicycle into the Metro Rail system must be accompanied by an adult. An adult may accompany only one child with a bicycle at a time.
Liability
Cyclists are responsible for their own bicycles and all actions, injuries, losses, and/or damages related to their bicycles in station areas, aboard trains or on Metro Buses.
