Organizations interested in doing business with WMATA must register their business on the Supplier Portal in order to be considered for any procurement opportunities.
During registration, new suppliers will be asked to provide information such as the company name, user contact information, primary business address, invoice address (if different from primary business address), the company's tax identification number (TIN), industry classification codes (NAICS/SIC), business details (i.e., type of ownership, owner name, year established).

If you receive the message " duplicate entity was found" it means that a current registration exists with the same tax identification number (TIN).

Due to the large volume of inquiries we receive, we do not provide direct phone numbers or email addresses. Instead, we use the Supplier Portal as a means of routing information. If you have a product or service you would like to introduce, please register on the Supplier Portal and when your registration is complete, your company information will be made available to all our procurement professionals.
No, the system does not send automated update reminders to suppliers who have not responded to solicitation or event notifications.
Completion of registration does not guarantee automatic notification of solicitations. When a solicitation is identified and your organization is found to have the item category and/or NAICS/SIC code, your organization will be included in the list of potential suppliers that match specific sourcing requests.
Internet Explorer version 10 or newer is the supported Internet browser used by the WMATA Supplier Portal.
To receive e-mail notifications on contract opportunities, suppliers must register on the WMATA Supplier Portal, identifying their North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) industry codes for the commodity and services for which they wish to receive notifications. Each supplier must provide a primary NAICS code in their profile and may also select additional codes.
Supplier registrations do not expire. The information in your supplier profile will be valid for as long as you are in business, and should be reviewed and updated as necessary. In the future, however you may receive notifications from WMATA Accounts Payable to provide payment information, such as a Form W9).
If you are a registered Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) supplier, you will receive notification when your certificate expires.

Although access to view Active Procurement Opportunities is available on the Supplier Portal, we strongly recommend and encourage registration so that you can receive bid notifications that correspond to your category, NAICS Codes and SIC Codes.
