Metro Rail weekday service changes for Monday June 8 through Friday, June 12

General hours: Mon-Thurs: 5 am-midnight; Fri: 5 am-2 am

Impacted service

Red Line

Monday - Thursday: Normal service until 10 pm. After 10 pm, trains single track between Silver Spring and Forest Glen and run every 15 minutes. 

Friday: Normal service

Silver Line

Normal service until 10 pm, then trains single track between East Falls Church and McLean. After 10 pm, trains will depart stations earlier or later than normally scheduled to avoid conflicts in the work zone.

Orange Line

Normal service until 10 pm, then trains may depart stations earlier or later than normally scheduled to avoid conflicts with the Silver Line.

Blue Line

Normal service until 10 pm, then trains may depart stations earlier or later than normally scheduled to avoid conflicts with the Silver Line.

What track work are we doing?

On the Red Line, our crew will perform tunnel leak repair. On the Silver Line, our team will replace anchors.
