Temporary Detour: Wheaton Arts Parade and Festival

Routes Affected: M12, M20, M22

On Sunday, September 27 from 8:00am-1:00pm, buses will detour due to the Wheaton Arts Parade and Festival. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible.

Street Closures:

• Reedie Dr between Georgia Ave and Viers Mill Rd
• Georgia Ave between Acrola and Viers Mill Rd
• Ennals Ave between Viers Mill Rd and Georgia Ave
• Grandview Ave between Reedie Dr and University Blvd
• Triangle Ln

The following routes will detour:

M12 University Blvd eastbound towards Hyattsville Crossing

• No detour required.

M12 University Blvd westbound towards Twinbrook

• Buses begin detouring on University Blvd at Amherst Ave, resuming regular route at Wheaton Station (Bus Bay B).

M20 Wheaton-Silver Spring northbound towards Wheaton

• No detour required.

M20 Wheaton-Silver Spring southbound towards Silver Spring

• Buses begin detouring on Georgia Ave at University Blvd, resuming regular route at Wheaton Station (Bus Bay A).

M22 Olney-Bethesda northbound towards Olney

• No detour required.

M22 Olney-Bethesda southbound towards Bethesda

• Buses begin detouring on Georgia Ave at University Blvd, resuming regular route at Wheaton Station (Bus Bay A).
