On Monday, September 7, from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm, buses will detour due to the Kensington Annual Labor Day Parade and Festival. Please allow extra time or avoid the area.
Street Closures:
- Plyers Mill Rd between Nash Pl and Connecticut Ave
- Connecticut Ave between Plyers Mill Rd and Baltimore St
- Fawcett St between Baltimore St and Howard Ave
- Montgomery Ave between Kent St and Howard Ave
The following route will detour:
M22 Olney-Bethesda northbound towards Olney
- Buses begin detouring on East-West Hwy at Connecticut Ave, resuming regular route at Wheaton Station (Bus Bay E).
M22 Olney-Bethesda southbound towards Bethesda
- Buses begin detouring on Connecticut Ave at Plyers Mill Rd, resuming regular route Connecticut Ave at Saul Rd.
