Temporary Detour H Street Festival

Routes Affected: C41, C53, D20

On Saturday, September 19, from 3:00 am until 11:59 pm, buses will detour due to the H Street Festival. Please allow extra time or avoid the area.

Street Closures:

• NH St between 3rd St and Florida Ave, NE
• Florida Ave between Staples Stand H St, NE (No eastbound traffic on H St, NE)

The following routes will detour:

C41 Bladensburg Rd northbound towards West Hyattsville

• No Detour Required

C41 Bladensburg Rd southbound towards Anacostia

• Buses begin detouring on Bladensburg Rd at H St, resuming regular route on 14th St, NE at F St.

C53 U St-Congress Hts northbound towards Woodley Park

• Buses begin detouring on 8th St at Maryland Ave, resuming regular route on Florida Ave, NE at 5th St.

C53 U St-Congress Hts southbound towards Congress Hts

• Buses begin detouring on Florida Ave at 6th St, resuming regular route on 8th St, NE at D St.

D20 H St eastbound towards Minnesota Ave

• Buses begin detouring on H St at N Capitol St, resuming regular route on Benning Rd, NE, at 15th St.

D20 H St westbound towards Farragut Sq

• Buses begin detouring on Benning Rd at 17th  St resuming regular route on H St, NW at N Capitol St.
