Temporary Detour: Fairfax Independence Day Parade

On Saturday, July 4, from 6:00am until 2:00pm, buses will detour due to the Fairfax Independence Day Parade. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible. 

Street Closures:

  • Main St/Rt 236 btwn Blenheim Rd & Chain Bridge Rd/Rt 123
  • University Dr btwn Armstrong St & Main St/Rt 236
  • Chain Bridge Rd/Rt 123 btwn Armstrong St & Main St/Rt 236

The following route will detour:

F23 Little River Tpk – George Mason

  • Buses will operate btwn King St – Old Town and a bus stop located on Main St at East St (stop ID #5002033).
