Routes Affected: A58, C11, C55, D10, D30, D4X, D40, D44, D5X, D50, D6X, D60, D74 

Beginning Friday, September 11, through Saturday, September 12, Metrobus routes throughout DC will experience significant delays and detours due to the DC Bike Ride event. Street closures associated with the event will start on Friday, September 11, at 5:00pm and will continue through Saturday, September 12, at 6:00pm. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow additional travel time.

  • 6th St, NW from Constitution Ave, NW to C St, NW

  • 7th St, SW between Constitution Ave and Frontage Rd, SW
  • Constitution Ave, NW from 3rd St, NW to 14th St, NW
  • 12th St, NW from Pennsylvania Ave, NW to Madison Dr, NW
  • 10th St, NW from Pennsylvania Ave, NW to Constitution Ave, NW

A58 Wilson Blvd – Farragut Sq 

  • Buses will operate between Ballston Station and a bus stop located at Rosslyn Station Bus Bay C (stop ID #6001346). 

 

C11 S Capitol St 

  • Buses will operate between the National Harbor and a bus stop located on M St, SW at 4th St (stop ID #1003690). 

 

C55 Union Station – L’Enfant Plaza 

  • Buses will operate between Union Station and a bus stop located on M St, SW at 4th St (stop ID #10000511). 

 

D10 Pennsylvania Ave 

  • Buses will operate between Southern Avenue Station and a bus stop located on Pennsylvania Ave, NW at 21st St (stop ID #1001182). 

 

D30 N Capitol St

  • Buses will operate between Fort Totten Station and a bus stop located on E St, NW at 9th St (stop ID #1001014). 

 

D40 7th St – Georgia Ave

  • Buses will operate between Silver Spring Transit Center and a bus stop located on 9th St, NW at F St (stop ID #1001055).

 

D50 14th St

  • Buses will operate between 14th St and Colorado Ave, NW and a bus stop located on M St SW at 4th St (stop ID #1003690).

 

D60 16th St 

  • Buses will operate between Silver Spring Transit Center and a bus stop located on 13th St, NW at G St (stop ID #1001073). 

 

D44 11th St 

  • Buses will operate between Fort Totten Station and a bus stop located on 11th St, NW at G St (stop ID #1001068). 

 

D4X 7th St – Georgia Ave Limited

  • Buses will operate between Silver Spring Transit Center and a bus stop located on 7th St, NW at H St (stop ID #1003418). 

 

D5X 14th St Limited northbound towards Takoma Station 

  • No detour 

 

D5X 14th St Limited southbound towards Metro Center

  • Buses begin detouring on 14th St, NW at H St, resuming regular route on F St, NW at 13th St. 

 

D6X 16th St Limited

  • Buses will operate between Silver Spring Transit Center and a bus stop located on 13th St, NW at G St (stop ID #1001073). 

 

D74 Rhode Island Ave – Foggy Bottom 

  • Buses will operate between Rhode Island Avenue Station and a bus stop located on Pennsylvania Ave, NW at 22nd St (stop ID #1001202).

 

The following routes are on detour for late night service towards L’Enfant Plaza:

  • Buses will operate between Fort Totten Station and a bus stop located on E St, NW at 9th St (stop ID #1001014).
