On Saturday, August 15, from 5:30am to 6:00pm, buses will detour due to construction. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible.
Street Closure:
- 8th St, SE between L St and M St
The following routes will detour:
C53 U St – Congress Hts northbound towards Woodley Park
- Buses begin detouring on 11th St, SE at M St, resuming regular route on 8th St, SE at Independence Ave.
C53 U St – Congress Hts southbound towards Congress Hts
- Buses begin detouring on 8th St, SE at Pennsylvania Ave, resuming regular route on 11th St, SE at O St.
C55 Union Station – L’Enfant Plaza eastbound towards Union Station
- Buses begin detouring on M St, SE at 8th St, resuming regular route on Pennsylvania Ave, SE at 8th St.
C55 Union Station – L’Enfant Plaza westbound towards L’Enfant Plaza
- Buses begin detouring on Pennsylvania Ave, SE at 8th St, resuming regular route on M St, SE at Isaac Hull Ave.
