Temporary Detour: Construction on Grant Cir NW on October 12

Route Affected: D44

Effective Monday, October 12, until Monday, November 30, buses will detour due to construction as part of the DDOT’s Grant Circle Safety Improvement Project. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible.

Street Closures:

  • Southbound Grant Cir, NW

The following route will detour:

D44 11th St northbound towards Fort Totten

  • Buses begin detouring on New Hampshire Ave, NW at Upshur St, resuming regular route on New Hampshire Ave, NW at 4th St.

D44 11th St southbound towards Federal Triangle

  • Buses begin detouring on New Hampshire Ave, NW at Grant Cir, resuming regular route on New Hampshire Ave, NW at Upshur St.
